Spicy Nuts
3 oz. (½ large pkg.) slivered almonds
Coat nuts with olive oil or melted margarine/butter; roast for apx. 2 ½ minutes in microwave.
Sprinkle nuts with 1 TB thyme, 1 TB oregano, ½ TB basil, ½ TB garlic powder.
Add 3 TB Worcestershire sauce; coat nuts with mixture.
Roast for another minute in microwave. Do not roast for too long to prevent Worcestershire from caramelizing.
Seasonings may be adjusted to taste.
